This successful small business is owned and operated by Eddie
& Anita Neeser from their property in the Mary Valley. Eddie
has over 20 years experience in the food industry and places high
values on quality control, both in the purchase of raw materials and
production. From their newly built state of the art commercial kitchen,
increasingly larger volumes of fresh fruit and vegetables continue to
be processed in time-honoured manner, producing 17 genuine home made
preserves made from traditional recipes.
Cassies Country Kitchen was initially founded
by Carol & Ken Groth at their home in the picturesque Mary
Valley, 2 hrs north of Brisbane, using locally grown produce.
The small home-based business grew quickly due to the quality
of its range of pickles, chutneys and relishes and in 2001 the
product range was launched through Gourmet Food Distribution
Companies in Queensland.
Expansion to other states via
Gourmet Food Distributors is planned.
Eddie & Anita continue the commitment of creating condiments
which are of the highest standard and quality which retain
their natural taste and goodness. No artificial colouring
or flavouring is used and GM free produce is sourced from
predominately local producers of fruit and vegetables. In
fact, each jar contains on average 80% fruit or vegetables
and is wheat and gluten free.
In a time when people are looking for tasty real food,
these homemade delights are truly to be relished.
